He is as old as eternity. He is as young as the last person on the earth will be when they are born some day. He stands beside me, behind me, in front of me and over me. He is my solution when I don’t demand my own way. He is the light to my pathway when darkness surrounds me. He never turns His back on me. He never disowns me. He is always my security. He never fails me. He is never late.
He stands ready to encourage, nudge, forgive, enrich and enlarge my vision of life according to His will and way. He loves me with the great Agape love that only He can give.
He is simply~~~~YES!
Paul had been saved twenty years when he refined his life goal:
“For my determined purpose is that I may know Him – that I will progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His person more strongly and more clearly.”
Question: Shouldn’t Paul’s determined purpose be ours as well? We know “Who” Christ is. We know “What” He did for us individually. We know “Why” He did, what He did. We know “How” He did it.
May we share Paul’s thoughts and feelings on the matter. We cannot go wrong. No way. Each of us has been given the greatest love letter of all time – the Bible. No love is greater than what is portrayed in the Word. It is ours – not for a price but for simply “accepting as is“.
Paul never once felt he finally “knew it all”. He determined that the more he knew, the more he didn’t know…..yet. That is the way it is for you and for me. Let’s keep digging into the greatest love letter ever written.
Digging deeper. Marge
