…..is the 13th. Oooooooooooooooops! Just the wrong month. 5/13 is move-in day for Od and me. AND I/WE are ready!!!!! I have everything from the outside already down and cleaned up. And I have discarded a lot of the kitchen stuff. (Just getting ready for the “next move”, which I won’t be doing myself.)
Oh! You know. It is so much fun doing this move even though I haven’t much strength. I can remember though, all the other moves and each one was so very special in a different way. This one in particular tells me this is the final place for me to live independently. And I sit back and reminisce other times, other places, other feelings, other joys about making each little place find its own personality.
The apartment Od and I are in right now is already spoken for. The gal really liked the way I had done it up. I am going to trying to keep in contact and see if I can get a glimpse of it after she is settled.
I was over to JT’s this morning to visit some ladies and the one who had so much through the years has the least in her apartment and it is the most lovely of the three. I took note. Realized that there was very little there but it was ALL “good stuff”. And the choices of what went in the room was special.
“I will take care of you all of your life (even up to right now He has watched over me)
Yes. Even when your hair is white with age. (Oh how special. So many can’t stand to show the gray/white hair. They want to look like their daughters. They forget age is beautiful to the Lord)
I made you. I will take care of you. (What promises. Even when our backs are turned on Him, He will not let go of us. Magnificent grace!)
I will carry you along and be your Savior. Ah! Yes! when we can no longer do for ourselves, He will still be right there with us as He was at our beginning.) As He carries us along, He will do the final preparations for our eternal living with Him.
My dear Christian Reader, never take for granted God and His Word. He is real. He is alive. In two weeks we will celebrate what Christianity is all about. It ain’t about the Baptist, or any other denomination. It is ALL about a relationship that is ours to accept and enjoy and be blest with. The relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. HIM ALONE.
Christianity is the only One that can boast of its Founder living, dying, coming back to live again and promising to return some day to take Home those who believe in Him as the BIBLE leads and directs. What a day of rejoicing that will be.
Until He comes, let us be busy preparing for that day, unknown to us but fully known to God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
In His perfect will and I AM staying there!!!!!
