WELCOME!    God’s Beautiful Women!!

I am looking forward to studying and sharing from God’s Word.  Women some times are pushed into a corner of life and left to fend for themselves. Exhausted, running here and there, overlapping in everything they do and to top it off try to keep themselves from falling apart.  God’s Word has a lot to say for us. I pray together we can push forward and upward with outstretched arms and touch the hem of His garment.

I am 83 years old.  A widow of ten years.  I am a Christian. I was saved in May of 1953, right out of High School. My belief is that of a Baptist.  HOWEVER. In Biblical times there were no denominations.  The denomination is secondary to the belief of the Bible.  Some have said to me, “Well you have your beliefs and I have mine.”  What they are saying is “you believe in the Bible, but I believe otherwise.” My determination is that what the Bible says is the authority on which to stand.  All other thoughts, actions, and writings amount to nothing and are false if they are not in agreement with the Word of God.

The denomination makes no difference EXCEPT with what they do with Jesus Christ. The Trinity: the word itself is not found in the Bible. But its meaning is broad and clear. God the Father.  God the Son.  God the Holy Spirit. Jesus was not a Teacher.  He was God the Son, who came, lived among us, died, buried, rose again and coming back some day for His own.  Christianity is not a religion. It is a relationship with Jesus.  He Himself said, “There is no other name under heaven given among men whereby you must be saved.”  What is there about that sentence that can’t be understood.  It cannot be any plainer. Oh! Christ was a teacher – but He was so much more!!!

I do not have all of the answers.  Nor do you.  But I know the One who does and that One will be the Leader of our times together as we discover more fully what God’s Beautiful Woman looks like. And we will see how amazingly the Word is so current and right up to date for 2018!!

The next few weeks we will dissect God’s Woman.  What she is like – what makes her tick. How do we become all that He designed us to be centuries ago when He did our designing. It will be important to use more Biblical answers than human answers because one person’s idea of an answer versus another might make it an answer that is not at all what the Word means, but it makes us “feel” better.

Our minds are like a blank chalkboard but we hold the chalk and the eraser, both, in our hands.  So much “stuff” funnels through our minds. Some is very good.  Some is very bad.   Always remember though, that we do not need to be reduced by it.

We are the gate-keeper of our mind.  As we walk through areas of our lives and minds, the personal pronoun will be used most of the time because as you read, you will hear yourself applying it to YOUR self – to YOUR mind – to YOUR heart – to YOUR soul, in HIS way!

Til tomorrow then….Marge
