We are looking at the Talents on this “Stop”. It is something to think about and ask ourselves: are we slacking off or do we allow the Holy Spirit to work in and through us as our Heavenly Father leads. Do we do the deciding as to how important the job is that has fallen to us to do. Will we get the glory? If not – – – – let someone else do it and in so doing, we have missed a tremendous blessing from His hand.
Matthew 25:14-30. Luke 19:12-27.
Matt. 25:26. Servant was NOT rebellious ~~~~~only UNPROFITABLE!!!
AND THAT CONDEMNED HIM !!!!
The servant probably thought he couldn’t do much so he would do nothing.
Do I sometimes feel that “my little” is not much and will not be missed?
By doing so, I am making no attempt to serve God.
Luke 19:16. Those who are alike-faithful may not be all equally successful. And yet all faithful servants are acceptable to their Master. Contrast here is between those who make use of God’s gifts and those who do not. Faithfulness in the use of abilities given me is what is required.
Matt. 24:45-51. Luke 12:42,48.
Everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded. From the one who has been entrusted with much, much will be asked.
Lord, You did not make us all for the same rung of life. Each of us have our place, show us exactly what it is and keep us faithful to serve wherever You have decided and led. Amen.
